Recycled Nappy Box Craft: Butterfly Wings

Who doesn’t love a fun little dress up! Make these butterfly wings out of a recycled nappy box and have your little one fluttering with delight! Our recycled butterfly wings are simple to make and fun to decorate. Here’s how to do it!

Supplies:

• Pandas box

• Box cutter/ scissors

• Paint / colourful paper

• Thick string / ribbon

Instructions:

Step 1 | Trace your butterfly wings on the long sides of your Pandas nappy box.

Step 2 | Using a box cutter, cut out the shape of two butterfly wings.

Step 3 | Let your little one decorate (we used colourful paper and paint) their wings.

Step 4 | Cut small strip of cardboard from Pandas box.

Step 5 | Using a box cutter or pair of scissors make 4 holes next to each other.

Step 6 | Thread thick string through to make butterfly wing holders.

Step 7 | Attach cardboard strip with hot glue to wings.

Step 8 | Let your little one wear their cute recycled butterfly wings!
