Are your nappies safe for children with sensitive skin, or skin conditions?

We pride ourselves on creating the most Natural Nappy we can. Our nappies contain no lotions, no fragrances, no bleach, no nasties. No plastic touches your baby’s skin. Our nappies are 85% plant-based materials. Our back-sheet is 100% bamboo fibre.

Are your nappies Dermatologically tested?

Yes, our nappies have been tested by Dermatest, a world leading research Institute in Germany specialising in skin patch testing. Pandas by Luvme nappies have received the highest test result possible, certified with Excellence. All our products are tested to be safe for even the most sensitive delicate skin.

Are your nappies Biodegradable?

Pandas by Luvme is always looking at ways to help our environment. A regular disposable nappy takes 500 years to biodegrade, our nappies depending on the size of the nappy takes on average 60 days to biodegrade up to 120 days. This is for the elements of the nappies that are biodegradable.

What does it mean when you say the elements of the nappies that are biodegradable?

No disposable happy on the market in Australia or globally have a 100% biodegradable nappy. We are over 85% biodegradable which is the highest we can get to without losing the comfort, performance and usability of our nappies.

Are your nappies compostable?

Pandas by Luvme are 85% compostable. We recommend following your state and councils’ instructions. Dispose in your normal bin and the nappy will still decompose in 60 - 120 days.

Do you have any 100% biodegradable and compostable products?

Yes, we do our eco bamboo wipes are 100% bamboo fibre and are completely biodegradable and compostable.

So are our eco plant wipes.

So is our 100% bamboo back-sheet on our nappies. We think that is pretty special! All Panda eco packaging is all biodegradable, compostable and recyclable.

How easily can Pandas by Luvme nappies and wipes break down in land fill?

Landfill sites are getting much better in their designs with stricter regulations. Each individual landfill site is different and can affect how quickly or long our nappy takes to breakdown like any other rubbish.  The levels of oxygen present or not present can vary as each site can be managed differently.  Rubbish can be circulated with machinery to ensure degradation is occurring and things like vermin and bacteria found at landfill sites will also help to break down nappies.  Some of these newer sites promote biodegradation through injecting water, oxygen and microbes.

It is an important fact that a product you dispose of that contains mostly biodegradable ingredient such as our products then it will break down much faster compared to a conventional baby nappy and products full of plastics.  Our Pandas by Luvme pull ups and nappies are also made from bamboo which naturally is biodegradable fibre making our Pandas by Luvme eco-disposables and pull ups greater than 85% biodegradable.

What are the differences with your eco bamboo wipes and eco plant wipes?

Our eco bamboo wipes are made from 100% natural bamboo. Our eco plant wipes are made from natural plant pulp fibres (mixed). The liquid ingredients are the same.

What preservatives do you use in your Luvme eco wipes?

We use Japanese Soybean amino acid which is completely natural.

Are your eco bamboo and eco plant wipes dermatologically tested?

Yes, our wipes have been tested by Dermatest, a world leading research Institute in Germany specialising in skin patch testing. Luvme eco Wipes have received the highest test result possible, certified with Excellence. All our products are tested to be safe for even the most sensitive delicate skin.

Is it true you have no nasty chemicals in your Luvme products?

This is absolutely true. No NASTIES in any Luvme products. We always work towards bringing out more new and innovative products and NO NASTIES is our number one NEED when producing new products.

Do Luvme nappies contain SAP?

Yes, Luvme nappies contain SAP. All nappies contain SAP, even those who claim to be ‘organic’, ‘biodegradable’, ‘vegetarian’ ‘vegan’ or ‘compostable’.

SAP (super absorbent polymer) is an absorbent material which has been used for more than 20 years and a component that all nappies have in common. SAP is used to absorb liquid and remarkably it has the ability to absorb up to 150 times its weight in water. SAP ensures our nappies have up to 12 hours of leak protection so that your little one stays dry and comfortable throughout the night.

SAP is not toxic and does not irritate the skin. The SAP we use has gone undergone rigorous compliance regulation testing to ensure it is safe and effective.

Luvmes' manufacturers are a solution-based innovative company and are constantly searching for better more sustainable materials, when we find an effective and highly absorbent bio-SAP you can be sure we will use it.

Will Pandas by Luvme eco-disposables match the quality of leading brands?

Luvme nappies and wipes will not only match but exceed the quality as they offer the added bonus of being not only made from premium bamboo but are also biodegradable. We stand by our products offering a 100% Money Back Guarantee.

Can I trial your products?

Yes! We offer free sample packs that you can try before you buy as we are so confident that you will love them. These come in full size packs, or in twin packs.

Why is bamboo so great?

Bamboo is 3 times more absorbent than cotton. It’s naturally hypoallergenic making it perfect on sensitive skin. It doesn’t use chemicals or pesticides to grow and is 100% biodegradable.

Where are your wipes manufactured?

All Luvme eco wipes are manufactured proudly in an off-grid facility in New Zealand.

Are your baby wipes home compostable?

Yes, our wipes are home compostable. Can be eaten by worms within the 30 days and very healthy for the plants.

Where are your nappies made?

Pandas by Luvme are Australian Owned and Designed, New Zealand Manufacturer with machinery located in PRC.

Why don't you manufacture your nappies in Australia?

No nappy to our knowledge and understanding is manufactured completely in Australia. Australia do not have nappy manufacturing facilities, otherwise we would.

Why do you have prints on your NEW design nappies?

Due to popular demand, we now showcase Australian artists on our nappies. We choose watercolour in gorgeous hand painted illustrations.

Is your INK safe?

Of course, it is we use plant-based inks to create beautiful colours. All our inks are certified non-toxic and food-safe, better for our world and safer for your baby.

Where can I purchase your nappies?

We have eco retailers all over Australia we are currently updating our stockist information page as our brand has grown considerably. We also sell online at www.littleshoppers.eco and will be setting up retail on our www.luvme.eco website.

Can I flush your flushable liners in the toilet if I have a septic tank?

Our bamboo flushable liners are not suitable for septic as there are different types of septic systems. We can’t guarantee this. The liners are not as thin as tissue paper and much stronger too. You can however put them in your compost bin.

Why are your wipes not flushable?

Our bamboo wet wipes are biodegradable and compostable but are not flushable as they would need to be thin like tissue to be able to flush. Our wet wipes are soft yet super strong and are moistened with aloe vera and vitamin e and no nasty chemicals.

I am a first-time buyer of cloth nappies. How many do I need to buy for a starter kit?

A new mum would look at purchasing 20 to 24 cloth nappies with extra 10 inserts as you will use 2 x day inserts in the nappies at night for extra absorbency. Alternatively, you can purchase the night inserts. If you put an insert on the outside of the inner part of the shell, and the insert is all that has been soiled. You can reuse the shell at the next change.

You change a new baby on average 6-7 times per day and wash every second day or daily depending on your schedule.

What are bamboo cloth nappies and inserts made of?

The inside lining of a bamboo cloth nappy is bamboo, this is the part touching bubs skin.

The outer shell is polyester and has a waterproof lining which means you don't have to purchase an extra cover.

The insert is made of bamboo fibres.

What are your swim nappies made of?

Polyester with a PUL lining

Do I need to also use an insert with my swim nappy?

Our Luvme swim nappies are designed for catching number 2's as they are lined with a mesh. You don’t need to purchase an insert as they are not designed to catch the liquid, instead it will flow through.

Why should I use swim nappies opposed to disposable swim nappies?

If a parent or carer is using a disposable swim nappy, we must be aware as soon as the disposable swim nappy hits the water the gel inside this disposable nappy is released into the water and the baby is swallowing these gel particles.

A swim nappy is great for the environment as it is reusable and eco-friendly. Pandas by Luvme reusable swim nappies are washable, quick-drying and adjustable and are a great way to save the environment and money. Our swim nappies can be used from baby to toddler.

How long have you been in business?

We have been providing eco products to families for over 11 years.

Are you Australian owned?

We sure are, always will be.

Where are you based?

We are based near the Gold Coast, in 1/16 Naru St, Chinderah NSW 2487.

Do your wipes have palm oil?

We are proud to say our wipes are naturopath approved and definitely don’t have palm oil in them. The glycerine is made from the separation process of making natural soap which doesn’t involve palm oil at all. For the tocopherol, our ingredients are from organic materials not extracted from palm oil.

PLEASE NOTE: Extra freight charges may be applicable to some areas. If you have selected multiple products with a pre-order product, your complete order will be sent out when pre order stock arrives.
