Certain smells and tastes just bring back that feeling of Christmas and peppermint bark is that for me! I make it for Christmas every year and it really is so delicious. The best part is that it only has 3 ingredients (yes you read that right!) and is so simple to make! It’s the perfect treat to nibble on while relaxing together as a family under the Christmas tree.



350g of dark chocolate chips (or you can cut a bar of chocolate)  

350g of white chocolate chips  

1/3 cup crushed candy canes


1 | Line a 20x20 cm pan with baking paper.  

2 | Melt the dark chocolate on the stove top or in the microwave in increments of 30 seconds until melted and silky.  

3 | Pour dark chocolate into a prepared pan.

4 | Put in fridge for 20 minutes to cool down and slightly harden.  

5 | Crush the candy canes. (One way to do this to unwrap the candy canes and put them into a Ziploc bag and wrap a tea towel around the bag and crush the canes with a hammer.)  


6 | Melt white chocolate. 

7 | Take the dark chocolate out of the fridge and pour the white chocolate directly on the top of the white chocolate.  

8 | Sprinkle with crushed candy canes.  

9 | Refrigerate until solid, approximately 2 hours.  

10 | Once solid, remove from pan and cut into pieces. Enjoy!
