What is it with kids and anything slime related? They justlove it! And this one is no exception to the rule. In fact, it’s even better because it only requires TWO ingredients! Also, no gross chemicals— this is all-natural slime! It has more of a flubber texture and is so fun to play with. Because there is no glue in it, it’s water soluble so isn’t a mess to clean up. It really is the perfect, easy school holiday activity!
Here’s the recipe:
2 tablespoons psyllium husk (can buy from Woolies or Coles)
a few drops of natural food colouring (optional) Or you let blueberries defrost and use the juice to colour the slime)
1.5 cups water
1. Add water to a large bowl and a few drops of natural food colouring (or blueberry juice)
2. Add psyllium husk and stir well
3. Microwave 2.5 minutes
4. Stir and continue microwaving in intervals of 30 seconds for another 1.5 minutes.
Watch out, it will be hot! Tip onto a plate to cool down for about 10 minutes in the fridge! And voila, ooey gooey, lots-of-fun slime! 😊
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
*This slime is taste safe but not recommended for consumption.
