International Women's Day 2023
Every year, on March 8, the world celebrates International Women's Day. It’s a chance to celebrate the light, love, strength, and beauty that women bring to the world.
Our LuvmeEco founder, Kendall and her daughter Kayla, attended an International Women's Day event that was hosted by The Beach People, an incredible local business run by a dynamic sister duo, Emma and Victoria. At Luvme, we are all about supporting other women in every sphere of life, but especially business, so attending this event meant a lot to us. It was held at the stunning Tweed River House, a plantation style venue nestled along the Tweed River. All proceeds of the event went to support Sparrow International, a non-for-profit organisation that does life-changing community development work in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
LuvmeEco founder, Kendall, shared “I felt so inspired being in a room full of women with similar goals and passions. Emma and Victoria shared with honesty about the challenges they have faced running a large scale business. I found it comforting to know that through the challenges, we’re all in it together. The event was a great reminder that it’s so important for all women to encourage and empower each other.”
